Introduction
Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology (abbr. Hortic Environ Biotechnol, herein HEB), the first official journal of the KSHS, was launched in 1965 as the ‘Journal of Korean Society for Horticultural Science’. The HEB is an international journal, published in English bimonthly on the last day of even number months, and indexed in ‘Biosys Preview’, ‘SCIE’, and ‘CABI’. This journal is devoted to the publication of original research papers and review articles related to vegetables, fruits, and ornamental and functional plants, and covers all aspects of horticulture, including cultivation physiology, protected horticulture, postharvest technology, genetics and breeding, and plants in relation to the environment.
